In 2005, I started blue echoes, a photography business that, in it's life span, did pretty good for an amateur. Now that I am unemployed and a full time care giver to my wife Barb and Dad to Cal, I need to do something to make some income. I could either get a gig at Home Depot, which quite frankly I would dig, but am too old for that. Go back IT? I am also no longer able to work 40 hour weeks because I want to care for my wife of 33 years more than anything else while she recovers from a massive stroke. SO, part time photography fits it seems.
My focus will be on Portrait, Wedding and Sports. I have only done three weddings, but all three were bizarre. So if you have a wedding that will be out of the norm, I am your human. Portrait wise, I am like everyone else, but I will just be cheaper and will love doing it more than anyone else. I will also embrace the bizarre, so if you want a photo of you vomiting into something, I am cool with it. Sports? Sure, I have the gear to pull it off. I love minor league baseball and LOVE soccer. Ask me, I may work cheap but I try the hardest. The White Sox and Schaumburg Boomers have used my stuff, so give me a shot.
If it is outside those three genre's, you can always ask. The more strange the better. Need photos of your Bearded Dragon's birthday? Give me a call. Have a satanic ritual of chopping heads off stuffed animals and eating their fluffy inners? You be you and I will document it. Keep me out of the slammer and we are good. Maybe some concert photography? I am game. Music is my love, you know that if you know me.
BUT, it is all photos. No video. Not that I do not like video, I just don't like doing video. A photo is worth 1000 words. A video may be work 1 million hits on TikTok, but I like the art of stills. I don't want to do video. I am old. Get off my lawn.
You can reach me at six three zero, seven four three, one four four three or at brian at symbol blue-echoes.com.
I look forward to hearing from you.
MAHALO.
